XM Scotch Yoke Pneumatic Actuators are fit forturn-off or metering control of 90" valves (such asball valves,butterfly valves and plug valves).lt canrealize automatic control of industrial process withvarious accessories.The principle is thatcompressed air enters the chamber to push thepiston to do linear motion,and by transmissionstructures of the yoke pin and yoke groove,thepiston's linear motion will be converted into theyoke's rotary motion,and drives the output shaft torotate, thus achieving the control of the valve.

 

There are two types of X Scotch Yoke Pneumatic Actuators,includingSymmetrical and Canted,which correspond to two different outputtorque characteristics.The anted Scotch Yoke Actuator,with highstarting torque and low operating torque,is suitable for the control ofbutterfly valve.The Symmetrical Scotch Yoke Actuator,with morebalanced torque curve,is mainly suitable for the control of ball valve andplug valve.
