  • Basic Structure
    • Nominal Diameter (DN): Usually ranges from DN50 to DN1200, with some products available up to DN2000 or larger to meet different pipeline size requirements.
    • Nominal Pressure: Common specifications include 0.6MPa, 1.0MPa, and 1.6MPa. Higher pressure-rated products are also available, varying by model and manufacturer.
    • Operating Temperature: Depends on the sealing material. For rubber seals, the range is generally -20ºC to 120ºC; for metal seals, it can reach -40ºC to 450ºC (specifics depend on the material).
      Material Selection
       
      • Valve Body Material: Includes cast iron, cast steel (WCB), stainless steel (e.g., 304, 316), PVC, UPVC, PP, PPH, CPVC, PVDF, etc. The choice depends on the corrosiveness of the medium, temperature, and other factors.
      • Valve Disc Material: Options include stainless steel, cast iron, bronze, etc., which are compatible with the valve body material to ensure the strength and corrosion resistance of the valve.
      • Valve Stem Material: Commonly uses 2Cr13, stainless steel 410, etc., which have good strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring the valve stem is not easily deformed or damaged during long-term use.
      • Sealing Material: Common types include nitrile rubber (NBR), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), etc. Rubber seals are suitable for general media, while PTFE seals offer better corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance.

    Structural Features
    • Adopts flange connection, where the valve is fastened to the pipeline flange via bolts through flange discs at both ends, ensuring a secure connection and good sealing performance.
    • The valve disc is disc-shaped and rotates around the valve stem, typically with a rotation angle of 0°-90°, enabling the valve to open, close, and regulate flow. It has a simple and compact structure, small volume, light weight, and is easy to install and maintain.

    Drive and Control
    • Uses a pneumatic actuator (commonly GT or AW series) as the power source. Actuators are divided into double-acting and single-acting types: double-acting actuators open and close via air supply, and maintain the current position when air supply fails; single-acting (air-to-open) actuators open via air supply and close when air supply is cut off, while single-acting (air-to-close) actuators close via air supply and open when air supply is cut off.
    • Can be equipped with accessories such as reversing solenoid valves, limit switches, air filter regulators, and electro-pneumatic positioners. The solenoid valve controls the direction of compressed air to realize remote control of the valve; the limit switch feeds back the open/close state of the valve; the positioner can precisely control the valve disc opening to regulate flow.
  • Performance Advantages
    • Low operating torque, labor-saving, and quick opening/closing. It can complete a 90° rotation in a short time, making it suitable for frequent opening and closing occasions.
    • The flow characteristic tends to be linear, with good regulating performance, enabling relatively precise control of medium flow in the pipeline.
    • Reliable sealing, achieving bidirectional sealing with zero leakage in gas tests, effectively preventing medium leakage.
  • Application Fields

    Widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, petroleum, water treatment, electric power, metallurgy, food, and pharmaceuticals. It is suitable for pipeline systems with various media such as water, steam, gas, oil products, and corrosive liquids, and can be used for fluid shut-off and regulation.
  • Implementation Standards

    The design and manufacturing generally comply with the GB/T12238 standard; the structure length conforms to the GB12221 standard; the flange dimensions follow the GB9113 standard; and the pressure and temperature tests are carried out in accordance with the GB9131 and GB13927 standards.
