Pneumatic flanged butterfly valve is a special type of pneumatic butterfly valve, the valve body is connected by a flange at both ends, fixed by bolts and pipe flanges, with high sealing and pressure capacity, widely used in medium and high pressure, large pipe diameter or strict sealing requirements of industrial pipeline systems.
Core feature
Flange connection:
Both ends of the valve body with standard flanges (such as GB, ANSI, DIN, etc.), through the bolt to the pipe flange docking, sealing gasket (rubber, metal wrap gasket) to ensure the tightness of the interface.
Advantages: Suitable for high pressure (PN16-PN40), large caliber (DN50-DN2000) scenarios, anti-vibration, anti-loosening, easy to disassemble and maintain.
Pneumatic actuator:
Equipped with single action (spring return) or double action (two-way air control) cylinder, the output torque is large, the drive valve plate 0°~90° rotation.
Optional intelligent positionists (such as IP67 protection level), support 4-20mA signal or bus communication (PROFIBUS, HART), to achieve accurate opening adjustment.
Seal design:
Soft seal: EPDM, NBR rubber seat, suitable for room temperature (-20~120ºC) and non-corrosive media (water, air, oil), leakage class VI (zero leakage).
Hard seal: stainless steel + graphite surfacing or metal to metal seal, high temperature (≤425ºC), high pressure and granular media (such as steam, dust).
Application scenario
Chemical industry: Strong corrosive media (acid, alkali) transport, need to be equipped with stainless steel 316L valve body and PTFE lining.
Energy system: power plant steam pipeline (≤4.0MPa), natural gas pipeline, requiring metal hard seal and explosion-proof certification (ATEX).
Water treatment project: large water supply network, sewage treatment plant, flange connection to ensure long-term stable sealing.
Food and Medicine: hygienic flange design (Tri-Clamp quick assembly flange), surface Ra≤0.8μm polished to meet the aseptic requirements.
