Structure and composition
Valve body: usually cylindrical, the material can be cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, etc., to meet the needs of different media.
Valve plate (butterfly plate) : disc-like structure, flow control through rotation, material to resist medium corrosion (such as stainless steel, PTFE coating).
Valve stem: Connects actuator to valve plate, transfers torque, requires high strength and wear resistance.
Sealing ring: Rubber (EPDM, NBR) or metal hard seal is commonly used for the seat to ensure the tightness when closed.
Pneumatic actuators: including cylinders, pistons, springs, etc., convert air pressure into mechanical motion, optional single action (spring return) or double action (bidirectional air control).
the working principle
Control signal: Receive 4-20mA electrical signal or switching signal, and the pneumatic positioner converts the signal into a pressure change (usually 0.2-1.0mpa).
Driving process: compressed air drives the piston movement, drives the valve stem to rotate, and the valve plate is from 0° (fully closed) to 90° (fully open), adjusting the Angle to achieve flow control.
Type:
Switch type: two-position control (full open/full closed), suitable for simple open and close scenes.
Adjustable type: equipped with positioner, can accurately control the opening, for continuous adjustment system.
