Product description
Basic structure and composition
Pneumatic ball valve is a threaded valve driven by a pneumatic actuator, the main components include:
Body: Usually made of cast steel, stainless steel or brass, both ends are internal or external threads (such as NPT, BSPT, G thread) for connection with pipe threads.
Ball: The ball with a through hole is used as a opening and closing part, rotated 90° to achieve on-off, and the surface can be hardened to enhance wear resistance.
Seal: commonly used PTFE, PPL or metal hard seal, adapt to different media (corrosive, high temperature).
Valve stem: connected with the pneumatic actuator, transfer torque to drive the ball to rotate, using anti-blowout design.
Pneumatic actuators: Most of them are compact rack and pinion type or fork type structure, supporting single action (spring return) or double action control.
Core features
Lightweight and compact: small size, light weight, suitable for small diameter pipe (DN15~DN50) with limited space.
Easy installation: threaded connection without flange alignment, saving installation time and cost.
Reliable seal: the soft seal can reach VI level zero leakage, and the hard seal can withstand high temperature (≤350ºC) and high pressure (PN40).
Economical and practical: the cost is lower than that of flanged valve, suitable for medium and low pressure conditions (PN16~PN40).
Wide applicability: suitable for a variety of media (water, gas, oil, weakly corrosive liquid).
