1. Structure and composition
Valve body: corrosion resistant engineering plastics (such as PVC, PP, PVDF), suitable for acid and alkali and other corrosive media.
Sphere: usually plastic material or metal core covered with plastic, smooth surface to reduce fluid resistance.
Seat/seal: Elastic material (e.g. PTFE) ensures tightness and ADAPTS to temperature changes.
Valve stem: Connects the ball to the pneumatic actuator to transfer the rotating power.
Pneumatic actuator: driven by compressed air, divided into single action (spring return) and double action (two-way gas control).
2. How it works
The pneumatic actuator receives the signal (4-20mA or switch signal) and drives the valve stem to rotate the ball 90° or at a specific Angle.
Flow direction configuration:
T-tee: To achieve dielectric shunt, confluence or flow direction switching (such as two in one out or one in two out).
L-tee: Specific flow control (such as switching two entrances to one exit, or reverse).
3. Application field
Chemical/Environmental Protection: corrosive liquid, gas pipeline control.
Water treatment: chemical addition, multi-channel water flow switching.
Pharmaceutical/Food: Hygienic process, resistant to cleaning agent corrosion.
